Summary :

Asour new Retail Sales Representative, you are a strategic thinker who will beresponsible for managing all aspects of sales in a professional and efficientmanner.

Through exceptional negotiation and diligence, you will assuredistribution of all listed Lassonde products, as well as identify new businessopportunities and increase sales in the respective territory.

Tobe successful you are a quick thinker, goal-oriented individual who canprioritize and has the drive to achieve results in a rapidly changing fastpaced environment.

You are a key playerin executing our sales plans through selling, merchandising, shelving andmanaging distribution in your territory.

By optimizing the in-store environment you will influence consumerpurchasing behaviors generating sales.

Key Activities :

  • Service and managevarious stores including small-format retail stores (independent convenience,corporate and independent gas, and grocery / drug stores).
  • Identify opportunities toimprove and increase sales and achieve sales objectives.
  • Maintain accurate accountrecords and submit required territory audits / reports.
  • Develop and maintainexcellent relationships with our customers.
  • Report and manage salesexecution.
  • Plan store visits.
  • Ensure enough products onshelves, as per planograms.
  • Develop action plans forpromotions and new product launches.
  • Install POS materials.
  • Ensure that quality ofproducts meet company standards and that products are priced correctly,properly rotated, and have valid expiry dates.
  • Provide feedback onperformance of shelving / merchandising programs and recommend course correctiveaction.
  • Maintain a high level ofcompetitor and marketplace knowledge including products, pricing, discounts,promotions, and sales levels.

Education and experiencerequired :

  • Possessa valid driver’s license.
  • Minimum3-5 years of retail sales experience.
  • Experiencein the food and beverage industry (an asset).
  • Post-Secondaryeducation in business or marketing (an asset).

Competencies :

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, passionate and innovative thinker, possessing strong leadership.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision, prioritize, multi-task, detail oriented and highly organized.
  • Excellent knowledge of MSWord office suite.
  • Bilingual (French and English) is an asset.

Specifics of theposition :

  • Travel is required in this position to effectively manage the territory.
  • Must be able to lift 25 30 pounds and occasionally up to 60 pounds.
