Financial Controller

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial activities encompassing Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Legal Compliance, Cost Analysis, Inventory Management, and Revenue Recognition across multiple corporate entities.
• Spearhead the formulation of budgets and financial projections, analyze discrepancies, and take corrective measures as needed.
• Generate and disseminate accurate monthly financial reports for various corporate entities.
• Manage various facets of financial reporting procedures.
• Investigate and address compliance issues related to technical accounting matters.
• Provide support during month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Uphold rigorous standards for financial transactions and reporting.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory reporting requirements at the local, state, and federal levels, including tax filings.
• Establish and document operational procedures and accounting protocols to reinforce internal controls.
• Supervise fixed asset records, oversee acquisitions and disposals, and calculate gains / losses from disposals.
• Conduct regular reconciliations of inter-company transactions on a weekly / monthly basis.
• Collaborate with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Billing, Reconciliation, and Leasing teams.
• Liaise with banks to address ad hoc inquiries and comprehend reporting prerequisites.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated track record in Controller roles
• Over 8 years of comprehensive accounting and finance expertise
• Advanced academic qualification in accounting
• Proficiency in SAP B1 software
• CPA designation
• In-depth understanding of accounting principles and methodologies
• Proficient in crafting financial statements
• Familiarity with general ledger operations and the procedures for month-end / year-end closures
• Proficient user and administrator of accounting software
