This is the job for you! We are currently looking for a Print & Mail Clerk for one of our clients in the printing industry.

- 12-month contract.
- Full-time position : 37.50 hours per week.
- Weekday schedule from 8 : 00 am. to 5 : 00 pm.

Responsibilities :
- Prepare mail and packages for external shipment using common mail services including fax, air express, freight, and postal services.
- Receive, sort, and process mail documents, packages, and supplies. Notify recipients.
- Perform basic printing utilizing color production printers.
- Record and process accountable mail information, maintain logs.
- Shipping and receiving using an automated system to track and manage activity.
- Arrange alternative courier or shipping services to meet customer requirements.
- Determine output packaging per packaging standards.
- Verify and maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Operate mail equipment including mail inserters, sorters, and finishing equipment.
- Perform quality checks on outbound mail.
- Perform charge-back reporting for postage, air express, local delivery, and faxes.
- Perform mail labeling and mail merge.
- Perform electronic mail distribution (open, mail prep, scan, and distribute).
- Perform fulfillment functions such as assembly, packaging, and kitted materials.
- Follow mailroom security procedures.
- Perform logging, transmission, receipt, and timely distribution of faxes.
- Deliver and pick up mail on scheduled runs.
- Recommend improvements to achieve cost savings and optimize workflow.
- Track, trace, and resolve mail problems or concerns.
- Monitor, order, and replenish supplies inventory.
What you will need to succeed :
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a mailroom environment.
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in a professional working environment.
- Previous experience in a client-facing environment.
- Previous experience in a dock setting.
- Familiarity with lift trucks and material handling equipment.
- Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn.
- Self-motivated with a proactive attitude.
- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.
- Ability to stand or be on your feet for 80% of the time.
- Capable of lifting and moving up to 50 pounds.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.
