This is the job for you! We are currently looking for a Print & Mail Clerk for one of our clients in the printing industry.

  • Full-time position : 37.50 hours per week.
  • Weekday schedule from 8 : 00 am. to 5 : 00 pm.

Responsibilities :

  • Prepare mail and packages for external shipment using common mail services including fax, air express, freight, and postal services.
  • Receive, sort, and process mail documents, packages, and supplies. Notify recipients.
  • Perform basic printing utilizing color production printers.
  • Record and process accountable mail information, maintain logs.
  • Shipping and receiving using an automated system to track and manage activity.
  • Arrange alternative courier or shipping services to meet customer requirements.
  • Determine output packaging per packaging standards.
  • Verify and maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Operate mail equipment including mail inserters, sorters, and finishing equipment.
  • Perform quality checks on outbound mail.
  • Perform charge-back reporting for postage, air express, local delivery, and faxes.
  • Perform mail labeling and mail merge.
  • Perform electronic mail distribution (open, mail prep, scan, and distribute).
  • Perform fulfillment functions such as assembly, packaging, and kitted materials.
  • Follow mailroom security procedures.
  • Perform logging, transmission, receipt, and timely distribution of faxes.
  • Deliver and pick up mail on scheduled runs.
  • Recommend improvements to achieve cost savings and optimize workflow.
  • Track, trace, and resolve mail problems or concerns.
  • Monitor, order, and replenish supplies inventory.

What you will need to succeed :

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a mailroom environment.
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in a professional working environment.
  • Previous experience in a client-facing environment.
  • Previous experience in a dock setting.
  • Familiarity with lift trucks and material handling equipment.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive attitude.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to stand or be on your feet for 80% of the time.
  • Capable of lifting and moving up to 50 pounds.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license.
