Director of Finance

As a Director of Finance& Customer Success you will manage operational financialreporting budgeting and planning processes in all key businessfunctions and play a leading role in ensuring the company meets its short and longterm targets.

Scope ofduties

• Takea handson role in leading the financial reporting process includingpreparing consolidated financial statements monthly managementreports and analysis to guide decisionmaking.
• Prepare accounting recordsand documentation including bank and credit card reconciliationsintercompany accounts payroll accounts receivable and payable andHST filings.
• Manage yearend externalaudits and be the main point ofcontact.
• Manage accounting controlsand tools (e.g. QuickBooks Online Ceridian Float) and identifyefficiencies and opportunities for cost reductions across thebusiness.
• Assist in the annualforecasting and budgetingprocess.
• Ensure compliance withlocal law tax provisions and relevant industry and financialregulations.

Requirements

• CanadianCPA designation.
• 8 years experienceas a senior accountant financial controller FP&A or similarroles (strategic finance corporate finance investment bankingprivate equity consulting corporatedevelopment).
• Excellent written andoral communication skills.
• Excellentorganization and time managementskills.
• Ability to build strongcollaborative working relationships with internal business partnersand department leads.
• Thrive in adynamic fastpaced environment and is not fazed byambiguity.
• Experience in SaaS or ahighgrowth tech company ispreferred.

Education :

BachelorsDegree(preferred)

1. Canadian CPA designation. 2. 8+ years experience as a senioraccountant, financial controller, FP&A or similar roles(strategic finance, corporate finance, investment banking, privateequity, consulting, corporate development).

3. Experience in SaaSor a high-growth tech company is preferred. 4. Financial statementconsolidation / monthly management reports.

5. Prepare bank andcredit card reconciliations, inter-company accounts, payroll,accounts receivable and payable, and HST filings.

6. Manageyear-end external audits and be the main point of contact. 7.Accounting Controls : QuickBooks Online, Ceridian, Float 8.
