Our client, a top 5 bank, is looking for a Manager, Employee Protection for a 12 months contract in Toronto. This is hybrid role (1-2 days week onsite).

Pay rate : $50.20 - $63.96 / Hour

Working hours : Monday Friday

Responsibilities

As a Manager, Employee Protection, your duties will include, but are not limited to :

Incident management of key programs (Robbery, Active Shooter, Kidnap, Hostage & Extortion, Workplace Violence, Aggressive &

Abusive individuals) as directed across the organization.

  • Managing the publishing of weekly, quarterly and ad-hoc reporting for global business units.
  • Managing the on-call scheduling and rotation for team members.
  • Responsible for publishing weekly incident review meetings.
  • Delivery of Employee Security Training programs globally
  • Assisting leadership team in identifying, implementing and maintaining security practices, policies and training.
  • Providing input and regional components into appropriate standards for crisis preparedness related to employee security incidents
  • Providing input and recommendations to senior management teams on matters related to security and crisis response.
  • Contributing to security related communications, promotes security awareness, designs and maintains communication channels to facilitate the distribution of time sensitive security information.
  • Supporting relationships with outside providers who support safety and emergency response.
  • Supporting both internal and third party security professionals to provide consistent, high quality and cost effective security support.
  • Managing workplace violence and provide guidance to employees across the organization globally.
  • Ability to manage Duty of Care, Duty to Warn scenarios

Qualifications

  • 5 years of progressive experience dealing with Duty of Care, Duty to Warn scenarios
  • Workplace Violence / Conflict Management training and experience.
  • Must possess good analytical skills, effective problem solving abilities, coupled with good judgment & discretion in order to provide immediate direction &

counsel in emergency situations worldwide.

  • Presentation skills to deliver training
  • A knowledge of the law enforcement community, relevant Criminal Codes, & related Statutes in order to maintain an effective liaison relationship with Police &

other security & Government agencies.

  • Must have diplomatic skills & proven competency to interact with the Senior Executives, while displaying a high level of security professionalism & discretion.
  • Sound organizational skills & the ability to manage a number of diverse projects or situations concurrently.

Nice to have :

  • Post-Secondary education from a recognized college or university.
