Our client is anational independent and notforprofit organization that assists inresolving disputes between consumers and financial services firmsin both official languages of Canada.
The organization is dedicatedto responding to consumer inquiries conducting fair and accessibleinvestigations into unresolved disputes and sharing its expertisewith stakeholders and the public.
If a consumer is unable toresolve a complaint against a participating bank or investment firmour client will investigate at no cost to theconsumer.
Thisposition requires 2 days in the office (Bay / Queen).
Dutiesand Responsibilities :
TheSenior Application & Systems Developer will be pivotal inmanaging and developing applications and systems critical to ourclient s operations and the delivery of consistent and timelyservices. Responsibilitiesinclude :
- Developingapplications on Dynamics 365 SharePoint Power Apps and integratingthirdparty applications.
- Writing andmanaging code for applications integrations andprocesses.
- Configuring and managingentities forms fields templates and knowledge basetools.
- Evaluating moderntechnologies including AIbased tools and leading theirimplementation.
- Developing andmanaging integrations between businessapplications.
- Leading projectmanagement activities including enduserconsultations.
- Enforcing softwaredevelopment lifecycle and solution management processes includingrisk management and securitycontrols.
- Leading annual softwareupgrade initiatives.
- Supporting datamanagement reporting and data integrityinitiatives.
- Documenting functionalrequirements and supporting ongoing communication technologyapplications.
- Managing IT changestaff training and contributing to continuous improvement effortswithin the ITdepartment.
Experience :
- 810years in IT application and database development maintenance andreporting.
- Strong expertise inMicrosoft Dynamics 365 (required) SharePoint and PowerPlatform.
- Experience with Agile andSDLC methodologies in technology changemanagement.
- Proven ability tosupport software application users and manage multiple supportrequests.
- Advanced analytical andproblemsolving skills.
- Considerableexperience working with external vendors and teams acrosslocations.
Competencies&Skills :
- Proficiencywith Dynamics 365 Office 365 Power Platform and clientsidescripting languages likeJavaScript.
- Experience in .NET C#VB.NET Microsoft Azure Azure Portal and AzureDevOps.
- Familiarity with REST andSOAP APIs SQL SSRS Excel VBA Power BI Power Pivot and PowerQuery.
- Understanding of AIimplementations in Microsoft Office environments is anadvantage.
- Ability to workindependently with minimal supervision demonstrating strongleadership and teamworkskills.
- Excellent communicationanalytical organizational and time managementskills.
- Flexibility to adapt tochanging priorities and thoroughness in taskcompletion.
Proficiency with Dynamics 365, Office 365, Power Platform, andclient-side scripting languages like JavaScript. Experience in.
NET, C#, VB.NET, Microsoft Azure, Azure Portal, and Azure DevOps.Familiarity with REST and SOAP APIs, SQL, SSRS, Excel VBA, PowerBI, Power Pivot, and Power Query.
Understanding of AIimplementations in Microsoft Office environments is an advantage.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision,demonstrating strong leadership and teamwork skills.
