What will your typical day look like?
As part of our team, you will :
- Lead the planning and execution of diverse and challenging projects, developing critical project management and leadership skills along the way.
- Collaborate directly with clients on complex accounting matters under IFRS, ASPE, and U.S. GAAP, building your problem-solving skills while helping clients navigate technical challenges.
- Dive into transactions related to disruptive events, including due diligence engagements and regulatory filings for initial public offerings, giving you exposure to high-impact financial activities.
- Gain unique experience by working with clients both locally and internationally, contributing to the global growth of our firm.
- Play a key role in developing and leading communications for clients and internal teams, strengthening your ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively.
- Participate in market and eminence initiatives, where you can innovate, experiment with AI technologies, and contribute to the growth of our service offerings.
- Help drive business development within the expanding Vancouver Assurance practice, positioning yourself as a valuable contributor to our success.

Our Assurance group comprises the Accounting Operations Advisory and Accounting & Reporting Advisory teams. We focus on delivering innovative solutions for technical accounting challenges and supporting CFOs and Finance teams to excel.
As part of our Accounting & Reporting Advisory Team, you'll assist clients in navigating new accounting standards, analyzing the impact on processes and controls, and providing technical expertise for other advisory engagements.
In this role, you'll have access to broad and unique experiences that will empower you to grow into a future leader, while exploring ways to integrate emerging technologies into our services.

About You You're someone who is eager to learn, grow, and make a difference. You have :
- A CPA designation (or in the process of obtaining one).
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong technical accounting skills (GAAP, IFRS, ASPE, U.S. GAAP) and experience with internal controls (CSOX / PCAOB).
- A strategic mindset that allows you to think critically about complex financial reporting requirements.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- A proven ability to solve problems, drive projects forward, and collaborate effectively with others.
