Cloud Data Solutions Architect

• Thisrequirement is for a cloud data solution architect with provenexperience designing and implementing complex large scale DataWarehouse Data Lake and Lakehouse and supporting Data Migration andConversion initiatives in a fastpaced environment.
• Thiscandidate must be able to develop refresh and obtain approvals ofsolution architecture artifacts for solution development for thedata lake / warehouse / lake house solution for the new ERP projectleveraging the Oracle Fusion solution and the OCI / Azure datalandscape and our legacy PeopleSoft implementations for both HR andFinance.
• Thecandidate must have experience developing architecture solutionsinvolving data integrations of multiple applications curation ofdata from different data sources and have experience with largeexternal SaaS providers andhyperspaces.

ResourceResponsibilities

• Workclosely and collaboratively with Business Data and IT specificgroups as well as external partners to understand businessrequirements develop document and review the conceptual logical andphysical solution architectures required for the ERP Modernizationproject
• Undertakethe design of technology solutions based on client s specificationsstandards policies and best practices and cost models as in whereand when available in order to meet business requirements andproject deliverables and provide input / influence the adoption ofstandards whereappropriate
• Identifyarchitecture risks and analyses of potential impact on theenterprise and on the achievement of scheduledobjectives
• Designbuild and test cloud architecture to ensure large amounts of datacan be transferred and storedefficiently
• Providetechnical oversight through design development and implementationcycle including hands on support through all phases including withtroubleshooting and projectdelivery

Requirements

Knowledge&Skills

MUSTHAVE :

• Universitydegree in applied sciences such as Computer Sciences Systems DesignEngineering Business or a combination of education training andexperience deemedequivalent
• 6years of solution architecture / solution design experience ideallywith experience in large enterprise environments including hands onexperience with data platforms and cloud infrastructure includingAzure Kubernetes Azure Redhat Open Shift Azure SAS Enterprise GuideIBM InfoSphere Cloud Pak SAS Enterprise Guide SAS Viya and OracleAWS S3 OCIExadata
• 4years of solution architecture / solution design experience in amodern data lake / warehouse environment with knowledge ofdata / business vault star schema snowflake and lakehousemethodologies operating in the Azure ADLS Gen 2 Azure Data FactoryDatabricks Synapse Snowflake etc.

or similar environments and withfamiliarity with SCD Types andusage

• Excellentknowledge of RDMBS and SQL Oracle and SQL Server relationaldatabases and experienced in the use of XML Web Services andEnterprise Service Bus (ESB) technologies for application andsystems interoperability including sftp / mft and event drivenarchitectures
• Experienceproducing target solution architecture asis documentation and tobeblueprints
• Selfmotivated;able to work independently to complete tasks and respond todepartment requests and to collaborate with others to use theirresources and knowledge to identify high quality solutions;

highinitiative and ability to prioritize in a high pressure environmentand ability to work on simultaneousprojects

Leadershipproblem solving interpersonal and oral / written / presentation skillsto lead the analysis design and development of enterprisetechnology / infrastructure architectureinitiatives.

• Experiencein the Insurance industry including the Accord reference model is aplus background accordmodels
• Experiencein ERP implementations including PeopleSoft and Oracle Fusionand / orGuidewire
• Experiencewith hyper scaler infrastructure design and integration includingAzure Oracle OCI andAWS
• Experiencewith modern identity management and integrations servicespersona / rbacdesign
