I handle two types of recruitment : temporary and permanent in the Greater Montreal area.
I am currently searching, on behalf of my client, a company located in Ville Saint-Laurent, for an accounts payable technician.
This is a permanent position with 2 days remote work.
The person will work in conjunction with the accounting team for monthly and year-end files as well as other special mandates.
- Participates in the accounts payable process :
- Scan and enter invoices in the accounting system for a large volume, reconciliation of Delivery Notes, verification of taxes, analysis and monitoring of problematic invoices,
- Production of various reports, various reconciliations relating to accounts payable (supplier account statements, account age report, etc.)
- Preparation of supporting elements for the preparation of payments (invoice output)
- Answers questions from suppliers relating to invoices and account statements;
- Participates in end-of-month and end-of-year processes;
- Support the company's various departments with the accounting team regarding internal requests for financial information (logistics, purchasing, project manager);
- Participates in special projects and all other requests related to the production of financial information.

- Attestation of college studies (AEC) or Diploma of professional studies (DEP) in accounting combined with more than three (3) years of experience in accounts payable for check production;
- Experience with ERP-type computerized accounting systems with a preference for knowledge of JD Edwards;
- General knowledge of the tax rules of the different provinces (QC, ON, BC, MB, SASK);
- Proficiency in Google IT tools would be a plus;
- Bilingual French / English (written and spoken).
- Be detail-oriented for the precision and accuracy of the figures presented;
- Demonstrate speed of execution in their tasks;
- Must be organized and able to manage their priorities;
- Demonstrate the ability to work in a team;
- Demonstrate an aptitude for problem solving;
- Have an excellent analytical mind;
- Be autonomous and responsible;
- Compliance with the deadline for the mandates entrusted to it;
- Demonstrates good communication both orally and in writing;
