Description de posteAbout the Role This role reports to the Manager, Leasing Administration and is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where no two days are the same. The Leasing Administrator plays an important role in supporting occupancy goals and ensuring departmental deadlines and objectives are achieved in a professional and efficient manner. The Leasing Coordinator plays a key role in supporting occupancy across our portfolio of 40+ rental apartment communities. Working closely with internal operations teams and on-site staff, this position helps ensure a smooth and responsive leasing experience while supporting departmental goals and timelines in a collaborative and professional environment. This is a full-time role based on-site at our Burlington office. Key Responsibilities - Complete all administrative functions as specified by the daily, weekly, and monthly workflow, with respect to the leasing cycle - Identify and recommend process improvements in the administration of our leasing process - Be the primary contact for the leasing cycle - Manage the approval of applications and lease documents - Ensure all administrative aspects of tenancy leases are maintained - Manage lease agreements correctly and on a timely basis - Coordinate and assist with high-impact leasing events, such as open houses or resident events - Understand and support legislative process with the Landlord Tenant Board as they relate to the leasing cycle - Support internal teams to be aware of vacancies, skips, evictions, transfers, etc. - Ensure accuracy of Excel reports, as they relate to the approved applications - Work closely with all internal departments to ensure accounting related processes and deadlines are met, such as: - Last month deposits - Incentive crediting - Maintain applicant documentation with accuracy and on a timely basis in Yardi and other accounting platforms - Provide support, and deliver training as required (virtual & in person), to ensure compliance with set procedures to new Resident Managers - Manage Yardi database, and reporting, in relation to the leasing process within DashQ - Work with respective teams to update market rents accurately and on a timely basis. - Act as the contact for the marketing team regarding leasing promotions and complete the cycle by sending new residents their gift cards on a timely basis and related reports to the accounting team - Assist the operations team with onboarding new properties What You Bring: - 2-3 years’ experience using Yardi as a Leasing Administrator within residential property management. - 2+ years of experience with Yardi Voyager and DashQ knowledge is an asset - Completion of Post secondary education with an accredited institution - Functional knowledge and understanding of the Landlord Tenant Board Legislation in Ontario, Alberta & British Columbia - Proficiency in all MS Office programs particularly MS Excel - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Bilingualism is an asset (French/English) The expected annualized base salary range for this position is $45,000 - $50,000 plus a discretionary bonus. The actual base salary offered will take into consideration factors including, but not limited to, the individual’s skill, experience, and relevant education or training.
