Introduction
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead initiatives in the Currency Remediation space within Capital Markets. This role focuses on analyzing and implementing solutions to address multi-currency data issues, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency across trading and risk systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7 years as a Business Analyst in Capital Markets, with a strong focus on multi-currency workflows and remediation projects
- Expertise in Order-Trade Life Cycle, FX products, and currency conversion logic
- Strong experience with data integration, data mapping, and API-driven solutions
- Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL preferred) for data analysis and validation
- Familiarity with Kibana, Logstash, and monitoring tools for data visualization and troubleshooting
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks impacting currency reporting and valuation
- Experience with risk systems, collateral management, and financial accounting standards
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering and solution design for currency remediation projects, including data standardization and conversion workflows
- Analyze existing systems and processes to identify gaps in multi-currency handling, valuation, and reporting
- Define and document functional specifications, data mapping, and integration requirements across trading, risk, and settlement platforms
- Collaborate with technology teams to implement remediation solutions, APIs, and automation for currency-related processes
- Support testing, UAT, and production readiness for currency remediation initiatives
- Partner with stakeholders (Trading, Risk, Finance, Operations, Technology) to ensure compliance with regulatory and accounting standards
