Specialized in trailer and heavy truck rental, our growing company is looking for a heavy vehicle mechanic or industrial mechanic ready to take on new challenges, or an automotive mechanic to complete our team in Anjou, located in Montreal!

We are very open to foreign workers, provided they have a valid work permit and reside in Quebec.

Advantages

As a heavy-duty truck mechanic, heavy-duty vehicle mechanic, automotive mechanic in Montreal / Anjou , here are all the benefits you could expect to receive :

• Permanent daytime position
• Flexible schedule
• Salary between $27 and $37 depending on experience
• 500 tools per year
• 4% annual bonus based on employee attendance
• flexible insurance
• group insurance with 1% employer participation
• work clothes provided (i for each day worked)
• birthday paid leave
• 10 days sick leave
• 3 days personal leave
• 150 for boots and amount carried over to next year

Responsibilities

As a heavy-duty truck mechanic, heavy-duty vehicle mechanic or automotive mechanic in Montreal / Anjou, here's what a typical day in your life would look like :

• Preventive inspection of trucks and trailers every 6 months
• Diagnose and schedule repairs
• Maintenance is 80% on trailers and 20% on trucks
• MIG welding on aluminum (an asset)

Qualifications

As a heavy-duty truck mechanic, heavy-duty vehicle mechanic, automotive mechanic in Montreal / Anjou, we are looking for the following qualifications :

• DEP in heavy vehicle mechanics or automotive mechanics or industrial mechanics but diesel experience
• 1 year experience in one of these fields
• Open to juniors!
• MIG welding (an asset)
• Resourceful
• Speak French
