Job Title : Electronics Technologist

Job Description

The Electronics Technologist will play a pivotal role in supporting the design, testing, integration, and maintenance of advanced avionics, Satcom terminals, and airborne communications hardware. Collaborating with engineering teams, this position focuses on embedded systems, RF / satellite communications equipment, networked avionics devices, and aircraft connectivity solutions. The technologist will work closely with electrical engineers, embedded software engineers, product development teams, and manufacturing to ensure hardware systems meet stringent aerospace reliability and certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and draft electrical schematics using CAD software such as Altium, Solidworks, and AutoCAD.
• Conduct extensive lab testing using equipment like oscilloscopes, multimeters, and spectrum analyzers.
• Support engineering teams in the integration and maintenance of avionics and communication hardware.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with aerospace reliability and certification standards.

Work Environment

This position requires onsite work five days a week, with standard hours from 9 am to 5 pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Ottawa, ON.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $46.00 / hr.
