CAMP LEADER

Key Activities

•Under the supervision of the Camp Director help present a minimum of six weekly creative-based day camp programs for children aged 5 to 11 years old in both French and English. There will be 12 to 20 children participating per class;
• Engage with artists that perform or participate in the camps if required,
• Positively motivate the children to be engaged, excited, and creative each day of the camp.

Skill Requirements

• Minimum one (1) year experience working with children in a creative and/or educational setting required such as summer camp, sports or arts lessons and coaching, or caring for children;
• Proven interest in creative or artistic education or activities is an asset;
• Superior attention to details;
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal);
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and work independently;
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with multiple stakeholders;
• Bilingual in both official languages is required;
• Hold valid CPR and First Aid certifications on the first day of camp;
• Clear Criminal Reference Check for Vulnerable Sector on the first day of camp.
