About this role :
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Performance & Learning, Operations, the Learning Coordinator Lead is responsible for overseeing the effective delivery of new and existing learning programs to be delivered to client groups across the organization.
The Lead will validate and intake work, ensuring workload is evenly split and best aligned to the talents and career goals of each Learning Coordinator.
They will provide specialized and consistent coaching and guidance to the Coordinator group, helping to map their career & development paths, and ensuring they have the resources / technology they require in their role.
The Lead will work toward process documentation / improvement, and knowledge management, and to work with Learning Advisors in the development of training programs for staff and clients at LDB.
The Lead manages resources / tools and the team responsible for the delivery of training services that utilize a variety of teaching modalities.
A criminal record check is required.
The successful candidate will need to have the ability to travel overnight within the Province of British Columbia.

Position requirements :
Education and Experience :
- Diploma in adult education, training, or a related field, and one year of recent, related experience*.
- Certificate or coursework in adult education, training, or a related field and two years of recent, related experience*.
- Recent, related experience, must have occurred within the last 5 years and must include the following :
- Experience in administering or coordinating initiatives or programs.
- Experience in people and project leadership.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in any of the following :
- Experience in process improvement, mapping, and implementation.
- Experience in a unionized work environment.
- Experience in learning services in a human resources function.
