About the Opportunity

• Develops and directs an effective system of accounting and related controls for all associated companies.
• Advises and makes recommendations to the President concerning company objectives, policies or plans as they relate to accounting / finance.
• Assists and coordinates with the company’s external accountants in their annual review of financial statements.
• Ensures that all federal and provincial tax reporting is prepared and filed on time with the appropriate government agencies.
• Provides regular cash forecasting and ensures that adequate funds are available to meet current and future obligations.
• Maintains positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders including shareholders, banks, external accountants, suppliers and customers.
• Leadership and management of the accounting team.

About You

• Professional CPA designation
• Strong computer / IT skills with advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous experience with new systems implementation
• Operational responsibility
• Experience with Sage 300 is desirable

Salary Range

$100,000 - $115,000 / year
