Our 'Client' is the largest production equipment rental company in Canada, specializing in film and TV. They are growing fast and have doubled in the last 2 years, with plans to continue the growth
The opportunity :
The Marketing Team is looking for a customer-centric marketing professional to join them in the role of Marketing Lead .
Responsibilities :
- Support and participate in the development and implementation of the corporate strategy
- Oversee development and execution of annual integrated marketing plan
- Oversee national brand communications, including internal communications, PR, social, web, email and paid advertising campaigns through traditional and digital platforms
- Oversee all branding updates including updating and maintenance of graphic standards and branded assets library
- Support planning and production of creative content, including photoshoots, video production, web development and other branded communications
- Collaborate with Director of Strategic Partnerships on planning and execution of client acquisition and retention programs supporting the industry and film community
- Lead cross-functional working groups to increase alignment between Marketing, Sales, Digital, Operations and the senior leadership team
- Partner with Sunbelt Marketing, external agencies, senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive marketing strategy implementation and alignment within the organization
- Train, mentor, and coach the marketing team and support the hiring and onboarding of new Digital Marketing Manager as needed
- Provide thought leadership and strategic recommendations to senior leadership as needed
- Maintain excellent relationships with leaders across all business units to ensure accuracy, consistency and relevancy of all marketing initiatives and branded content
Experience required :
- 7+ years of marketing experience, including 3+ years of people management and 2+ years working within a B2B sales organization
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration
- Experience working with Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or Pardot
- Strategic leader with proven experience leading integrated tactical campaigns
- Customer-centric marketer with deep understanding of marketing principals and best practices
- Strong communicator with excellent relationships management and project management skills
- Solutions focused creative problem-solver and highly adaptable to changing work environments
- Exceptional organization skills, good judgement, with ability to meet short deadlines
- Strong people manager with proven ability to grow and mentor a junior team
