The Peace School Division is seeking applications for a Full-Time (1.00 f.t.e.) Temporary Gr. 6 ELA / Humanities Teacher at T.
A. Norris Middle School. This position is to commence on as soon as a suitable candidate is secured and will continue until June 27, 2025.
T. A. Norris Middle School is located in the town of Peace River and serves students from grades 5-8. The school offers a high quality core academic program, consisting of English, French Immersion and French Second Language and a wide range of exploratory courses which include Art, Drama, Home Economics and Band.
T.A. Norris also offers hockey and dance academies.
Qualifications :
Knowledge of the Alberta Program of Studies
A commitment to student achievement
Training and / or successful teaching experience
Effective communication and classroom management skills
Ability to work as part of a team
This school offers French programming to its students, knowledge of the French language is considered an asset.
Requirements :
Must hold or be eligible for a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
Provide an acceptance current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check

Annual Salary Range :
$ 62, 702 to $ 105, 996 (dependent on experience and education in accordance with the collective agreement between the Alberta Teachers’ Association and the Peace River School Division).
