We’re looking for a Vancouver-based Marketing Manager who loves event planning, going all out with digital presence in posts, blogs, and engaging content across various social media platforms.

You are an extrovert, and you love connecting with people both in person and online, bringing excitement and energy into our internal and external events, and being an engaged and energetic ambassador for our brand.

You get excited to support the sales and pitch team from client research to marketing collaterals. You love creating social media content and making decent graphics or editing a bit of copy without breaking a sweat.

You have experience with tech startup companies, are comfortable with uncertainty and change, and are ready to take initiative and work with minimal oversight to deliver impactful marketing outcomes.

You are highly organized and comfortable breaking goals into tasks and activities and getting things done by yourself or with support from the other team members.

You take charge of creating and maintaining the marketing calendar because you hate that sound when missed deadlines hit the floor.

Who you are : We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Marketing Manager to join our team. This role requires a professional comfortable working in a high-paced environment with minimal oversight, performing most duties related to marketing.

The ideal candidate will have experience marketing professional services and tech startups and be adept at rolling up their sleeves to get things done, working directly with the executive team to drive impactful marketing outcomes.

Role Responsibilities : 1. Event Planning and Execution : Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing awareness activities related to in-person business conferences and events during all stages (pre-, during, and post-) while working closely with various stakeholders.

Ensure seamless execution of events, handling logistics, promotions, and post-event follow-ups. 2. Digital Marketing Strategy : Develop and maintain a comprehensive marketing strategy, including social media, blogs, and other digital content.

Execute integrated B2B marketing campaigns to grow direct leads and support our sales and partner marketing efforts. 3. Content Creation and Management : Create and develop content and graphics related to events, blogs, thought leadership and partnerships on social media platforms to engage with clients.

Assist with content creation and sales enablement collateral such as success stories, pitch decks, playbooks, whitepapers, infographics, webinars, advertising, blogs, and multimedia.

4. Analytics and Optimization : Analyze and conduct A / B testing to improve campaign effectiveness. Use analytics tools to measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, making data-driven decisions to optimize results.

5. Collaboration and Coordination : Work closely with the sales team to manage the end-to-end process of Request for Proposal (RFP) submissions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX / UI designers, content writers, and external PR agencies, to ensure cohesive and effective marketing efforts.

6. Market Research : Conduct thorough market research on clients, competitors, and industry trends, updating HubSpot with relevant client contacts.

7. Website Management : Work on WordPress to update and populate the website, images, and banners, create landing pages, upload content to the blog, and ensure overall website maintenance.

What you bring : 4-5+ years of proven experience in a general marketing leading role, with a focus on social media content creation and event planning.

Experience in the technology industry is important. Clear understanding and experience with different marketing channels, strategies and journeys 2.

Skills : Excellent project management skills with a demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines. Ability to adapt quickly and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong initiative, with the ability to make recommendations and balance various concurrent demands in a friendly and professional manner.

3. Personal Attributes : Upbeat personality with the ability to be thoughtful and detail-oriented. Comfortable working independently and on tight timelines.

Business-oriented and able to align marketing efforts with sales efforts. A great attitude and willingness to learn. Prefered Technical Skills : HubSpot experience and certification.

Design and presentation skills to help put together presentations and marketing brochures. Familiarity with ABM techniques.

Video and photo editing skills. HTML and CSS skills for small updates to the marketing website. SEO, analytics, and AdWords certification.

Location : Vancouver area Remote role, but candidate must be able to travel to Vancouver for company and business events.

Able to travel to the USA or within Canada for event setup (ad-hoc). Team Members : This is an independent role, working collaboratively with key leaders on the pitch team (Sales, Technology, Design, Finance, and Exec).

Report to the CEO while working directly with various sales and business leaders and executives. Working closely with UX / UI product and brand designers, content writers / strategists, and our PR agency.
