Job description3+ years of professional marketing experience A post-secondary school diploma / degree (Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications or Business concentrations are an asset) Superior writing and communication skills Superior project management and campaign management skills Experience with marketing automation software and CRM platforms Solid understanding of digital initiatives and website analytics tools Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading marketing campaigns across channels Ability to develop relationship lifecycle and customer marketing strategy to deliver high-value engagement at every stage Provide support in content marketing, digital marketing (including email marketing, webinars, web content, social media), market research, CRM management, client-facing events, and other market-positioning activities Support marketing lifecycle of new developments at varying stages Lead conceptualization, planning, and execution of marketing campaigns from start to finish Ensure the quality of all written and illustrated content is brand standard Strategize and execute advertising campaigns across traditional and digital media for target audiences Source new advertising opportunities and stay up-to-date with market trends Analyze online analytics and conduct marketing studies to identify target audiences and competitive advantages Coordinate content for email campaigns; provide final drafts for Mailchimp and other CRM platforms Collaborate on strategy and maintain corporate social media platforms Budget management and maintenance on a per-project basis Develop creative briefs and guide creative direction for all assets Present ideas and deliverables to internal and external teams; communicate with senior leaders about programs, strategies, and budgets Identify new content requirements and develop assets with the team Assist with creation and review of ad copy, website and landing page content Own and report on the status and success of marketing activities Comprehensive employee health benefits package Flexible statutory holidays with option to bank days Casual dress code Monthly team events and activities Enjoy food and team lunches Engage in sports Write a cover letter addressing : why you’re the best Digital Marketing Specialist for this role with quantifiable achievements; what are the last three books you’ve read (or movies / shows); what you do for fun.
