We are always looking for great people to join our team!The Restaurant Manager is responsible for generating performance which exceeds guests’ expectations while maintaining Operating Standards, achieving financial results, and building a great Climate-rich employment experience.

QualificationsAbilities : Maintaining key internal and external relationships with other members of the management team, the A&W Business Manager, restaurant guests, suppliers, and representatives from the Health & Safety Board, Fire Department, and Labour Board.

The restaurant's Assistant Managers report directly to this position. Also reporting to this position are all hourly paid employees including shift ability to manage and lead a large, diverse, and guest-focused team in a high-volume business environment in which an excellent working Climate is a ability to read and understand financial statements.

A proven ability to problem solve, innovate, and implement change to improve the success of the business is also high proficiency in selecting, training, and developing people is a Restaurant Manager must hold a valid driver’s license and have regular access to a car.

Working Conditions : Working in a fast-paced environmentWorking in a diverse environment with many different personalities and attitudesWorking together as partners, as a cohesive unit with co-workersWorking with hot products and equipmentWorking with cleaning materials and chemicals Working in a noisy environmentWorking with sharp objects (knives, slicers, of portable or step ladder may be required Physical Requirements : This position requires the employee to stand for an extended period of time (up to 8 hours)Occasionally must lift heavy boxes when dealing with product inventory (max 50 in repetitive tasks such as preparing / assembling orders and products and regular cleaning of restaurant facilityMust always be mentally alert to ensure the safety of yourself, co-workers, and guests at all times Maintaining good personal hygiene and appropriate uniform Having the capacity to handle stressful situationsWhy work at A&W?
