Our clientis a toptier personal injury law firm with offices across Canadaseeking a Lawyer with a 35 year call to join their team in Calgary.
This role requires someone to step in to the firm and take on a full practice / fileload. The firmfosters a culture of collaboration where you will work and learnfrom seasoned professionals who are eager to help yougrow.
You’ll work on a wide variety offiles handling everything from client intake to resolution. Thefirm trusts its team members with substantial responsibility earlyon allowing you to develop your legal skills quickly through directexposure to discoveries mediations motions and settlementnegotiations.
Your Role as a Personal InjuryLawyer
You’ll be an integral part ofthe personal injury team in the management and handling of filesfrom intake to resolution. Key responsibilities include :
- Draft and review a variety of legal documentssuch as contracts agreements pleadings andcorrespondence.
- Represent clients innegotiations mediations arbitrations and courtproceedings.
- Collaborate with colleagues andlegal professionals to create effective legal strategies andsolutions.
- Conduct thorough legal research andanalysis on issues related to Alberta laws andregulations.
- Maintain accurate and uptodatecase files records and documentation.
- Stayinformed about changes in legislation legal trends and precedentsrelevant to Alberta.
- Build and nurture strongclient relationships providing personalized attention andexceptional service.
- Uphold ethical standardsand professional integrity in all aspects of practice.
Requirements
- Called to the Bar in a Canadian province and licensed topractice law or a Foreign Trained Lawyer with completed NCA andpermanent residency in Canada.
- 35 years ofexperience handling litigation and personal injuryfiles.
- Excellent communication skills bothwritten and verbal.
- Strong time managementattention to detail and ability to work in a fastpacedenvironment.
- Ability to work bothindependently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Eagerness to learn and a positive candoattitude.

- Pay : From$105000.00 to $115000 base salary per year
