Our client is a toptier personal injury law firm withoffices across Canada seeking a Junior Lawyer to join their team inCalgary.

You’ll work on a wide variety offiles handling everything from client intake to resolution. Thefirm trusts its team members with substantial responsibility earlyon allowing you to develop your legal skills quickly through directexposure to discoveries mediations motions and settlementnegotiations.
Your Role as a JuniorLawyer
You’ll be an integral part ofthe personal injury team assisting in the management and handlingof files from intake to resolution.
Key responsibilitiesinclude :
- Draft and review a varietyof legal documents such as contracts agreements pleadings andcorrespondence.
- Represent clients innegotiations mediations arbitrations and courtproceedings.
- Collaborate with colleagues andlegal professionals to create effective legal strategies andsolutions.
- Conduct thorough legal research andanalysis on issues related to Alberta laws andregulations.
- Maintain accurate and uptodatecase files records and documentation.
- Stayinformed about changes in legislation legal trends and precedentsrelevant to Alberta.
- Build and nurture strongclient relationships providing personalized attention andexceptional service.
- Uphold ethical standardsand professional integrity in all aspects of practice.
Requirements
- Called to the Bar in a Canadian province and licensed topractice law or a Foreign Trained Lawyer with completed NCA andpermanent residency in Canada.
- 03 years ofexperience handling personal injury files.
- Excellent communication skills both written andverbal.
- Strong time management attention todetail and ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively ina team setting.
- Eagerness to learn and apositive cando attitude.
