PositionOverview :
TheElectrical Project Manager will oversee the planning execution anddelivery of utility power and distribution projects.
The successfulcandidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are completedon time within budget and to the highest standards of quality andsafety.
Requirements
KeyResponsibilities :
ProjectPlanning : Develop detailed project plans including scope scheduleresources and budget. Define project objectives deliverables andmilestones.
Execution : Lead and manage project teams including engineers contractors andsubcontractors. Ensure effective coordination and communicationamong allstakeholders.
QualityControl : Monitor project progress and performance ensuringcompliance with technical specifications safety standards andregulatory requirements.
Implement quality assurance and qualitycontrolprocesses.
RiskManagement : Identify potential risks and develop mitigationstrategies. Address issues and challenges promptly to minimizeimpact on project timelines andbudget.
BudgetManagement : Oversee project finances including cost estimationbudget tracking and financial reporting. Ensure efficientallocation and utilization ofresources.
StakeholderEngagement : Maintain strong relationships with clients suppliersand regulatory authorities. Provide regular updates and reports tostakeholders ensuring transparency andalignment.
Documentation : Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation includingcontracts reports and records. Ensure all project documentation isaccurate complete and up todate.
Safety : Promote a culture of safety and ensure all project activitiescomply with health and safety regulations. Conduct safety auditsand inspections asrequired.
ContinuousImprovement : Identify opportunities for process improvements andimplement best practices to enhance project delivery andperformance.
Qualifications :
Education : Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Project Management or arelatedfield.
Minimum5 years of experience in project management within the utilitiespower and distributionsector.
Experiencewith largescale utility power and distributionprojects.
