Development Lead – Fujitsu Canada

Location : Gatineau, Quebec

Job Description

Full‑time, permanent opportunity for a Development Lead to join our innovative team supporting enterprise‑scale Knowledge Management (KM) modernization projects. This role is ideal for a leader with experience in designing and implementing secure, scalable solutions leveraging Microsoft 365, Azure, and AI‑enabled frameworks.

Top Skills

5–10 years of experience in software development and solution architecture
Proven expertise in Microsoft 365 ecosystem and Copilot integration
Experience with DITA XML and document‑as‑code methodologies
Strong knowledge of DevSecOps practices and Azure DevOps pipelines
Hands‑on experience with Azure cloud infrastructure and services
Proficiency in containerization technologies and orchestration platforms
Experience integrating AI‑enabled tools and frameworks into enterprise solutions
Advanced skills in server‑side programming (e.g., Python, .NET, or Java)
Ability to design secure, scalable architectures for KM solutions
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of KM solutions using Microsoft 365 and Copilot integration

Oversee implementation of DITA XML and document‑as‑code practices for structured content management

Guide DevSecOps and Azure DevOps pipeline design for secure and automated deployments

Architect and manage Azure cloud infrastructure for scalability and compliance

Implement containerization strategies for microservices and distributed systems

Integrate AI‑enabled tools and frameworks to enhance KM capabilities

Provide technical leadership in server‑side programming and API development

Ensure solution architecture aligns with security, compliance, and performance standards

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality KM solutions

Mentor development teams and enforce best practices in coding, testing, and deployment

Nice to Have Skills

Experience with multilingual and accessibility‑compliant KM solutions

Knowledge of advanced AI / ML techniques for content optimization

Familiarity with hybrid cloud architectures and cross‑platform integrations

Previous experience in regulated or government sector environments

General Requirements

Must reside in the Gatineau area in Quebec

Hybrid work arrangement – onsite at least three days per week, with additional days as needed

Strong organizational and time‑management skills

Commitment to quality and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Willingness to learn new tools and technologies

Eligibility for Reliability Security status; minimum five years’ residency in Canada
