Overview

LeverageTek is actively seeking a Microsoft Power Platform Software Developer for a 6-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer.

Work Location

Hybrid

Key Tasks

Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements.

Design, develop, and deploy custom applications using Microsoft Power Apps.

Build and maintain automated workflows using Power Automate to improve operational efficiency.

Develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to deliver insights and support decision-making.

Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.

Conduct exploratory data analysis to support business planning and strategy.

Participate in the development and deployment of AI solutions, including conversational AI and Copilot Studio.

Review and evaluate vendor products and emerging technologies to assess business fit.

Perform unit testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet requirements.

Produce comprehensive user, technical, and solution documentation.

Deliver training sessions and provide post-implementation support for end-users and administrators.

Key Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Copilot Studio) delivering production-ready business solutions.

Strong data analytics expertise, including data modeling, analysis, and visualization using Azure data services.

Proven end-to-end delivery experience, from requirements gathering through deployment, testing, training, and support.

Qualifications

Application Development

Minimum 5 years of professional experience working with Microsoft Power Platform.

Demonstrated success delivering solutions that streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Proven experience managing projects through the full lifecycle, including requirements, build, deployment, and support.

Ability to work across diverse business processes and stakeholder groups.

Data Analytics

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Data Engineer, or similar role.

Strong experience analyzing complex datasets and producing actionable insights.

Hands-on experience with Azure data services, such as :

Experience delivering end-to-end data solutions, including data ingestion, transformation, analysis, and visualization

Assets

Microsoft Partner status or experience working within a Microsoft Partner organization.

Prior knowledge of or experience working with NAV CANADA or within aviation, transportation, or safety-critical environments.

Experience with conversational AI platforms and business automation at scale.

Strong facilitation, communication, and training skills.

Compensation : Hourly Rate Negotiable
