Come build a healthier future with us.The Medical Education team is an arm of the Integrative Medical Advisory Team (IMAT), which provides critical advisory functions to the commercial and operations divisions of the company, while also helping to drive strategic innovation.

The Medical Education team has helped develop one of the integrative medicine industry's most valuable practitioner and patient content libraries, as well as three prominent studies based on treatment adherence.

The team is now focused on driving education-based strategic partnerships in collaboration with numerous divisions of the company, providing support services to front-line teams like sales and customer support, and continuing to explore research opportunities that position Fullscript as a leader in medical innovation.

What you'll do :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join our dynamic team in the supplement industry.

As an MSL specializing in partner engagement, you will play a crucial role in establishing and nurturing relationships with key external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, scientific experts, and industry partners.

You will be responsible for providing scientific and medical support, delivering educational programs, and facilitating the exchange of scientific information to enhance the understanding and utilization of Fullscript's supplement products.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key external partners, including healthcare professionals, scientific experts, and industry organizations
  • Serve as a primary scientific and medical resource to internal and external stakeholders, addressing inquiries and providing accurate and timely information on Fullscript's supplement products, their benefits, and appropriate usage
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Merchandising, and Product, to ensure alignment and coordination of scientific and educational initiatives
  • Conduct educational and training programs for clients, including healthcare professionals, to enhance their knowledge and understanding of supplement products and their potential applications, and the overall features of the Fullscript platform and its related services
  • Participate in scientific conferences, symposia, and advisory boards as needed to stay updated on emerging trends and research in the supplement field
  • Facilitate scientific exchange and communication between internal stakeholders and external partners to foster collaboration and address scientific and medical needs
  • Provide insights and feedback from the field to internal teams regarding product performance, market trends, and competitor activities
  • Stay current with relevant scientific literature, clinical guidelines, and regulatory requirements to ensure accurate and up-to-date knowledge.
  • Support the development and review of scientific materials, including educational resources, presentations, and publications
  • Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory, and company policies and guidelines.

What you'll bring to the team :

The MSL candidate must have experience with the development of medical (health-related) programs and projects for a wide diversity of audiences, and should be confident in the process for associated business impact reporting.

Above all, the MSL must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to communicate effectively within and across different teams.

Technical Qualifications :

  • Advanced degree (ND, MD, MSc / PhD or equivalent) in a scientific or integrative healthcare field
  • Two to three years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison or a related role in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, functional food or supplement industry is required.
  • Demonstrated project management experience and / or equivalent training or certification
  • Strong scientific acumen and understanding of clinical research methodologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to distill complex scientific information into clear and concise messages for different audiences
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with external partners
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and from conception to completion
  • Flexibility to travel as needed to attend meetings, conferences, and partner engagements
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct in-depth research on a variety of health-related topics
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with industry experts to gain insights and translate them into learning content
  • Demonstrated knowledge of an evidence-based approach to healthcare
