Manager, Systems Engineering

The Manager, Systems Engineering will establish and lead the Systems Engineering capability at Gastops, ensuring the effective integration of complex hardware, software, and analytical systems into cohesive, high-performing products. This role defines the framework, tools, and best practices that enable cross‑functional engineering teams to deliver technically sound, safe, and customer‑focused solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Establish the Systems Engineering discipline within Gastops, including defining processes, methodologies, and governance aligned with industry standards (e.g., INCOSE, ISO / IEC 15288).
• Develop and lead a team of systems engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee system architecture definition, requirements engineering, verification and validation, and interface management across projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, mechanical, electrical, and software teams to ensure system‑level integrity, traceability, and design intent are maintained from concept to delivery.
• Provide technical leadership on system design trade‑offs, risk management, and configuration control.
• Support business development by contributing to proposals, defining system solutions, and articulating technical strategies to customers and partners.
• Mentor and coach engineers to develop systems thinking and lifecycle awareness across the organization.
• Represent Systems Engineering in corporate governance, design reviews, and product qualification activities.
