Job Summary An employee hired to perform custodial duties is responsible to the Director of Operations or designate.
Position : TEMPORARY until the return of the incumbent or June 30, 2026
Hours of Work : 40 hrs / week - 14 : 30 - 23 : 00
Wage Rate : As per C.U.P.E Local 4165 Agreement $24.81
Qualifications
- Grade 12 or equivalent or willing to obtain
- Driver's License would be considered an asset
- Experience / formal training cleaning in a related field would be considered an asset
- Computer skills would be an asset

Ensure secure, safe and sanitary conditions of the facility and grounds, such as setting alarms, locking doors, snow removal, dusting, sweeping, washing and garbage pickupPerform cleaning, maintenance and restoration of floors, e.g., stripping and waxingMaintain an accurate inventory of cleaning equipment and supplies and order as neededOperate and care for equipment related to the positionMake routine repairs regularlyDevelop work methods in agreement with the Director of Operations or designate for assigned tasksReport maintenance concerns to the principal / vice principalCheck daily with the school principal / vice principal for specific school needsComplete daily checklist of dutiesPerform other job-related dutiesAll applications must be submitted through Make Future to be considered for the position.
