Robert Half is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join a growing organization located in the Ottawa-South region.

This is a full-time / permanent role on site. There will be no opportunity to work remotely.

Responsibilities :

• Maintaining an accurate vendor list.
• Entering vendors invoices.
• Verifying and entering packing slips against purchase orders to receive inventory
• Preparing vendor account reconciliation; business bank account & Credit Card reconciliation.
• Issuing Purchase Orders.
• Ordering office and vendors supplies.
• Prepare journal entries.
• Prepare month end closing.

Job Requirements : Qualifications :

Qualifications :

• Post-secondary education in accounting or related field
• 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with great attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Experience in various accounting software such as Great Plains would be an asset
• Self-starter & eager to learn
