Job Details
The Sales Coordinator position is a critical part of the Sales team. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Business Development and Sales. This position is very important in maintaining the functionality and the internal processes related to the sales team.
Responsibilities
- Sales and Marketing Functions (80%) : Liaise between production, purchasing, and customers to confirm lead times and shipping dates.
- Sales and Marketing Functions (80%) : Support the sales team to ensure smooth operational processes.
- Sales and Marketing Functions (80%) : Manage Salesforce activities, including lead management, closing won opportunities, pricing updates, new account creation, and report generation as required.
- Sales and Marketing Functions (80%) : Process all incoming orders for the sales team, including daily order entry in Exact Max software, and manage Vision subscription quoting and billing.
- Sales and Marketing Functions (80%) : Manage and distribute all incoming sales leads via email, phone, and website inquiries.
- Sales and Marketing Functions (80%) : Provide account management support in North America and internationally as needed, including preparing quotes for dealers and direct customers and managing the sales process.
- Sales and Marketing Functions (80%) : Provide inputs for sales and service reports, which are crucial for tracking company progress and supporting strategic decision-making.
- Sales and Marketing Functions (80%) : Create new customer and dealer accounts in the order entry system and perform credit checks.
- Sales and Marketing Functions (80%) : Maintain and track results associated with promotions and other sales initiatives.
- Sales and Marketing Functions (80%) : Assist marketing with tradeshow organization, including (but not limited to) hotel reservations and auxiliary requirements such as electrical setup.
- Service Functions (20%) : Act as a backfill for the Service Coordinator and assist during peak business times to maximize service revenue including, but not limited to, the following functions
- Service Functions (20%) : Order quoting and customer follow-up.
- Service Functions (20%) : Submit and schedule new orders into Production.
- Service Functions (20%) : Manage and respond to incoming service requests via email, phone, and website, including obtaining customer approvals for service work orders.
- Service Functions (20%) : For time-sensitive projects, ensure expedited equipment reaches customers on schedule.
- Service Functions (20%) : Create new customer and dealer accounts in the order entry system.
- Service Functions (20%) : Maintain accurate information in the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) database.
Qualifications
University or college education preferred.5+ years experience in a sales support or sales coordinator role interacting with distributors and customers on a daily basis.Bilingualism in verbal and written French is an asset, not a requirement.Bilingualism in verbal and written Spanish is an asset, not a requirement.Ability to multi-task while remaining focused on completing all tasks in a dynamic environment.Strategic thinking, innovative creativity, analytical and superior organizational skills.Exceptional time management skills.Strong written and oral communication skills.Ability to develop and build strong and effective relationships.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, with a focus on Microsoft Word, Excel, SAP, and PowerPoint.Familiarity with Sales Force is an asset.Ability to work with highly confidential information.Experience with technical products and services is preferred.Highly self-motivated. A self-starter with keen attention to detail.Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high paced environment.Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as work well in a team environment.Ability to get results in an environment where interruptions may occur.Friendly and confident when interacting with dealers and customers.A personal commitment to responding promptly to dealer and customer requirements and needs, including follow-up to ensure issues have been addressed to the dealer’s and customer’s satisfaction.
