Adecco is currently hiring skilled and detail-oriented Electronics Assembly Technician for our client in Scarborough, Ontario. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with hands-on experience in electronic assembly and soldering who enjoy working in a collaborative, innovative, and team-oriented environment.
In this role, you will assemble advanced geophysical equipment, including sensors, data loggers, and specialized electronic systems used by scientists, researchers, and exploration companies worldwide. You will work alongside experienced engineers and technicians while contributing to the production of high-quality technology products designed and manufactured in Toronto
Pay Rate: $25.00/hour
Location: Scarborough, ON
Shifts: Monday to Friday | 9:00am - 5:00pm

Responsibilities:
Assemble electronic and geophysical systems, including sensors, data loggers, and related equipment
Perform both through-hole and SMT (Surface Mount Technology) soldering
Read and follow assembly instructions, technical documentation, schematics, and work procedures
Conduct electronic testing, inspection, and troubleshooting as required
Use hand tools, power tools, and precision assembly equipment safely and effectively
Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications
Complete tasks accurately, efficiently, and within established timelines
Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment
Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures
Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other team members to meet production goals
Take ownership of assigned work and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
Mandatory experience with through-hole and SMT soldering
Previous experience in electronics assembly, manufacturing, or production environments
Experience performing electronic testing and inspection is preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools and assembly equipment
Ability to read and follow written instructions and technical documentation
Excellent attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or within a team
Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills and technologies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Someone who takes pride in producing quality work
A dependable team player who thrives in a collaborative environment

Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
