Job Summary

The Team

The Indigenous Relations and Partnerships team is a dedicated group of curious and hardworking professionals advancing reconciliation through policy alignment and research.

As part of this established team, you will collaborate with colleagues across various roles, focusing on policies and programs that support reconciliation commitments.

The Role

As a Policy Analyst, you'll engage in meaningful work by conducting research, drafting briefing notes, and offering subject matter expertise to guide program staff with policy direction.

It's a dynamic, fast-paced environment that keeps you on your toes, and offers plenty of opportunities for growth. This role contributes directly to advancing reconciliation, making a meaningful and lasting difference.

Qualifications :

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, Indigenous studies, social sciences or related field, plus two (2) years of *related experience , OR, a Diploma in Public Administration, Social Sciences, or other related field, plus four (4) years *related experience .
  • Related experience must include all of the following :
  • Experience researching policy issues and conducting policy analysis.
  • Experience managing projects and / or project components.

Preference may be given to applicants with one (1) or more of the following :

  • Who identify as Indigenous (First Nations, Métis or Inuit).
  • Experience working with Indigenous organizations and communities.
  • Experience working with skills training and / or labour market development systems.

About this Position :

Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 5 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.

An eligibility list may be established to fill both current and / or future permanent vacancies.

A Criminal Record Check (CRC) will be required.
