Responsibilities

  • Collect, validate, and manage large datasets to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Conduct thorough data profiling and lineage analysis to understand data quality, relationships, and dependencies.
  • Develop and maintain data management processes, ensuring compliance with data governance standards.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and insights that support business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data management solutions that meet organizational needs.
  • Strong Data Analysis skills with hands on experience with data profiling, data mapping, data quality, and data lineage.
  • Strong SQL skills (freeform writing and reading) and understanding how to write / read business requirements
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy, self-starter, organized
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive metadata repositories to document data assets, definitions, and usage, as well as data dictionaries, models, and workflows.
  • Establish a process around maintaining data documentation, including data dictionaries, models, and workflows.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of data quality improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure data governance policies are followed and data security is maintained.
  • Manage the "Data Marketplace" to facilitate easy access and utilization of data assets by authorized users.
  • Provide support and training to end-users on data management tools and best practices.
  • Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in data management, data analysis, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in data management tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and generate actionable insights.
  • Experience with data governance and data quality management practices.
  • Experience in database management systems and data warehousing solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to data management (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) is a plus.
