What you will do
Help our business make informed decisions. You will work closely with our finance team to ensure accurate data entry and to provide timely information, including financial reporting and analysis.
This role is designed as a combination of a Financial Clerk and a Financial Analyst. There is an opportunity to progress into a Financial Analyst through a training and development program.
A day in the life
Reporting to the Finance Manager, your job duties include :
- Ensure accurate data entry of financial transactions and journal entries
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliation and credit card reconciliation
- Manage accounts receivable process for invoice processing
- Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts receivable data
- Monitor client accounts by reconciling Payments to invoices and client aging
- Assist with accounts payable process, including verification, payment entry, and manual bank deposits
- Collect, organize, and analyze financial data from internal and external sources and provide updates to senior managers
- Prepare and submit timely and accurate accounting information as required for month-end
- Work closely with department heads and develop regular performance reports to help identify areas for improvement
- Produce financial reports and models to support senior management in making decisions in line with the organization's business strategy
- Undertake special analysis projects at the direction of the Finance Manager and the senior management
- Bi weekly collect employee timesheet data and prepare submission to payroll
- Coverage of other positions as required
- Assist with other accounting projects as assigned

Salary Range : $30 - $33 per hour based on experience
