Government of Northwest TerritoriesYellowknifeAs a key member of the Procurement Shared Services team, you would be providing professional and valued added services in the procurement of goods and services on behalf of departments, boards and agencies throughout the Government of the Northwest Territories, along with expert advice on tendering, contracting, contract administration and contract management. The PSS organization is responsible for managing approximately $90 - $100 million annually in contract and procurement activities originated by GNWT departments, boards and agencies.
Working in a Procurement Shared Services team environment, you would also participate in the development and implementation of policies, systems and procedures to ensure professional, fair and consistent tendering and awarding of contracts and that the process is carried out in a controlled manner with due regard for risk management.
To be successful in this role, you would have achieved a Level 4 status with the Purchasing Management Association of Canada (PMAC) (now known as the Supply Chain Management Professional designation), or equivalent level with the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP), or you would have a diploma in Commerce or Business Administration and 5 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, procurement, contract management and administration.

Salary Information
The salary range for this position is from $51.42 per hour to $61.41 per hour (approximately $100,269 - $119,749) plus an annual Northern Allowance of $3,700.
