About the team you are joining
The Department of Flight and Technical Operations(FTO) is part of the IATA Operations, Safety and Security (OSS) Division.
Reporting to the Head of Technical Operations andbased in Montreal the successful applicant will contribute to or be responsiblefor :
- supporting all Technical Operations focused activities, including organization of Technical Operations Working Group (TOWG) meetings, its reporting Task Forces meetings, and related IATA events
- participating in daily management of IATA specific project activities by completing administrative and / or Subject Matter Expert (SME) tasks, including the processing of domain tailored surveys, data, information and drafting of IATA documents.
What your day would be like
- You will be involved in the follow-up of actionsagreed during specific calls and meetings initiated by the technical operationsteam, keeping track on their progress and visibility to the concerned IATAinternal stakeholders.
- You will be tasked with pursuing the collection,centralization and appropriate visualization of data, information and feedbackrelated to above, including their readiness for and upload to correspondingIATA internal databases and intranet pages.
- Your day would occasionally involve ad-hoc researchin aviation technical operations’ areas and issues emerged during progress ofprojects which IATA FTO initiates, contributes / participates to or follows-up.
- You will be required to prepare, contribute to orcoordinate, as applicable, initial or final draft of meeting minutes (MoM), presentations,survey reports, white papers, guidance material and best industry practicesmanuals under FTO mandate.
- In close collaboration with the technical team, youwill carry out, as assigned, the tasks required to support on-going or newinitiatives and projects involving FTO contributions at the IATA core orregional level.

- You’ve recently graduated ( within the last 12 months) a University with a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in engineering (, Aviation, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer) or Business Administration.
- You are employing a high level of interpersonal and communication skills with a positive and persistent can-do attitude in the interface with internal and external stakeholders.
- You have a demonstrated ability to interact effectively in an international and multicultural environment, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- You have very good English language skills (verbal & written) with a reasonable command of aviation specific vocabulary;
knowledge of other languages is an asset.
Youare highly computer literate with strong user capabilities of Word, Excel,PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and you are conversant with using Teams, SharePointand PowerBI.
