Exciting senior leadership role is HR that is truly a builder role! Reporting to the President and working alongside a senior leadership team of 8, this position is looking for an HR leader that loves the be a part of growth! This company is scaling from 300 to 500 quickly and has a roadmap to get there and needs support to execute on this.

This is a varied role in leading HR strategy but also in partnering with the business and rolling out many new key projects and initiatives.

Initial projects are the implementation of their Avante HRIS system, looking at compensation establishing key ranges and bands per role and creating a compensation framework by roll and skill set.

This position has it all and is looking for someone that likes to improve HR processes and really wants to make their mark.

Our client, an impressive fast paced and high growth company in the construction industry that has a great culture, with long tenured staff, some of which have been there 25-30 years since the company was founded! They are an entrepreneurial office although backed by a very large.

What- the Role :

Reporting to the President, this HR Manager position will be key in leading and executing on HR Strategy. This is a varied role in leading HR strategy but also in partnering with the business and rolling out many new key projects and initiatives.

Initial projects are the implementation of their Avante HRIS system, looking at compensation establishing key ranges and bands per role and creating a compensation framework by roll and skill set.

The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.

This role will also focus on driving IT and systems implementation within the HR department, as well as managing change effectively across the organization implemented and leading other best practices around HR processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management within the construction industry and / or relevant operational industries and be adept at navigating the unique challenges of this sector and drive change.

Who- the Candidate :

We’re seeking a dynamic, professional, HR leader with proven experience in building HR including HRIS implementation experience, best practices and better tools to support a fast paced and scalable company!

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or HR certification (e.

g., CPHR, SHRM) is preferred.

  • Minimum of 5-8 years of HR management experience, preferably in the construction or related operational environments.
  • Proven experience with HR systems implementation and IT integrations.
  • Strong background in change management, with the ability to lead and influence organizational change.
  • In-depth knowledge of British Columbia employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience in managing DEI initiatives is an asset.

How Much :

Competitive base salary commensurate with level of experience in Sales leadership. Ideal range will be between $100-120,000 plus bonus, vacation, and benefits.

Where :

This role will be based in Delta BC. Initially this will be fully onsite for training and building relationships for roughly 1-2 months and then hybrid 2-3 days in office after.
