We are looking for a driven, passionate, positive individual to join our Distribution Operations & Enablement team.
A key part of the Aviva Canada Distribution strategy is to grow our business through bringing to bear our relationships with brokers.
The primary purpose of this role is to support broker distribution activity through providing contract management and licensing support.
The Broker Enablement team provides contracting, commission, governance and system maintenance support to the Broker Distribution teams, ensuring smooth and compliant servicing and maximization of our broker relationships.
The management of broker contracts and reviewing the licensing of Aviva’s broker partners is an essential part of this team.
This role supports the Broker Distribution teams in all regions of Canada.

What you'll do :
Support the broker contract lead in drafting broker contracts, amendments, and terminations on behalf of the Broker Distribution and Legal teams.
Review broker licenses, including new licenses, renewals, and terminations on a quarterly basis for Atlantic provinces.
For all other provinces, maintain a list of sponsorship authorized signatories and advise regional regulatory bodies of changes.
Provide support to the Enablement team as required, including processing of broker code changes.
Support transformation projects impacting the Enablement team as required.
What you’ll bring :
You will have a University degree, College Diploma or equivalent work experience.
Strong interpersonal and influencing and organizational skills.
Creative and bold problem solver with a curiosity to learn.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the capability to communicate at all levels (with internal and external partners and via different media) is significant to the role.
Experience in at least 1 of the following areas :
Broker / supplier / third party contracts, including drafting and understanding of key terms.
Exposure to legal terms and terminology an asset.
Experience of / exposure to P&C insurance industry.
French language an asset.
