Our client is a prominent transportation company in Vancouver, BC is dedicated to providing seamless and efficient fleet operations, ensuring that all vehicles are safe, well-maintained, and ready to meet operational demands.

What You’ll Do :

Lead a team of Maintenance Supervisors across various terminals, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment

Ensure regular service schedules and preventive maintenance protocols are followed to maintain fleet readiness

Oversee the performance and efficiency of internal repair shops, ensuring work meets quality and compliance standards

Coordinate with external vendors and manage relationships for timely, cost-effective repairs and parts procurement

Conduct regular audits of fleet maintenance records and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

Implement and improve fleet maintenance programs to enhance vehicle longevity and performance

Monitor and control maintenance costs, working within budget to optimize repair and maintenance expenses

What We’re Looking For :

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Minimum of 5 years of experience in fleet maintenance management or a similar role, with strong leadership and supervisory experience

Extensive knowledge of fleet maintenance procedures, equipment management, and safety standards

Proficiency in maintenance software and MS Office; knowledge of fleet tracking software is an asset

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills, with attention to detail and quality standards

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and vendors

Experience in a unionized environment is preferred

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
