We’re on the lookout for a dynamic and high-performing commercial real estate appraiser to join our team as a Senior Consultant or Director. If you’re ready to take on a new role and make a significant impact, we want to hear from you.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a contributing member of the Professional Services team, you will work closely with the Vice-President, Professional Services, Senior Managing Director, Managers, and the Real Property Team to support our company’s vision, strategic priorities, and initiatives. Through site inspections, research, expert analysis, and collaboration, you will collect and analyze data to develop solid and defensible rationale for the final value assigned to a property. This information is presented to clients in Reserve Fund Study reports and Real Property Appraisal Reports. A large percentage of the work involves collecting on-site data, data entry, and local cost data research. You will also assist with training and supervising junior staff and perform quality control reviews of reports. The successful candidate will be located in Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, or Winnipeg and will travel regionally and locally.

Your research and analysis skills are top-notch, and you’re proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and databases. A valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel locally and regionally are essential.

You have the following credentials :

• Working towards or have an Accredited Appraiser Canadian Institute (AACI) designation and member in good standing;
• 5 – 10 years’ CRE valuation experience;
• Experience with appraisal report writing, depreciation report writing, property inspections, and / or onsite data collection;
• A combination of education, designation, and experience may be considered.
