Park s customers include large global brands from within the agriculture, energy and natural resources, utilities, pharmaceuticals and transportation and logistics sectors.

Park Digital is currently seeking an Account Director to join our Calgary team, to manage a roster of top tier clients. This role is a key senior client management position at the agency, responsible for managing strategic marketing initiatives and driving new business for some of our largest clients and leading a team of senior / junior account managers.

Responsibilities

Reporting the President of Park Digital, this role is a key senior client management position responsible for managing strategic marketing initiatives and driving new business for some of our largest clients.

  • Responsible for key major accounts with a focus on partnering with senior clients, building customer loyalty, maintaining customer relationships and generating additional service opportunities.
  • Drive excellence across the agency in our client deliverables, from strategy through to creative product and execution.
  • Identify and evaluate new avenues for increasing business growth and performance of major clients.
  • Define marketing communications objectives and create strategies to accomplish objectives for the client.
  • Oversee ongoing client communications and provide senior level client management support acting as the main account contact.
  • Lead and manage any additional account and project management individuals associated with the account.
  • Oversee ongoing client communications and provide senior level client management support as required to resolve any issues to a mutually satisfactory manner.

Manage the relationship in a professional, ethical and disciplined manner.

Qualifications

  • 5 - 8 years of related agency experience with proven ability as a self-started and client relationship leader.
  • Experience with online marketing, direct marketing and / or related strategy work including campaign development and performance analysis.
  • Proven ability to lead and foster client relationships at the C-suite; demonstrated experience in pitching and closing new business for major brands across multiple verticals.
  • Demonstrate bigger picture understanding of client's marketing strategy and ability to communicate how current insights / tactics associate with longer-term strategy objectives.
  • Demonstrated experience in formulating and driving long-term strategic account plans and strategies.
  • Proven experience in working cross-functionally across an organization.
