Job Summary
Responsible for driving operations for an assigned region of stores. Work closely with all facilities, equipment and fleet to manage daily issues and projects.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
- Runs multiple functions within the stores in daily operations to execute on the goals ensure highest degree of safety, service and quality. Oversee all aspects of branch operations including service & maintenance, inside sales, transportation & logistics, P/L and PPE.
- Maintains company standards with the facility, equipment and delivery fleet. This includes cleanliness, organization and appearance of personal workspaces.
- Prepares yearly business plan with team forecasting revenues, expenses, fleet ROI and utilization and overall branch growth.
- Monitors and ensure safety and environmental compliance. This includes maintaining all records and documentation. Drives center initiatives directly with associates, maintaining condition of work area in accordance with all internal and external regulatory guidelines, i.e., OSHA, FDA, PDA, DOT, etc.
- Assists with hiring and training of all new and existing associates. Trains associates on processes.
- Assists in prioritizing associate workloads to ensure proper staffing, merchandising, and equipment presentation and condition.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Nature and Scope
- Solutions require analysis and investigation.
- Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles, and practical experience.
- Manages a group or team of professional individual contributors and/or indirectly supervises support staff.
Work Environment
- Typically located in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors that may cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness, such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes.
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
- Typically requires overnight travel 20% to 50% of the time.
Education and Experience
- Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
