The IT User Support provides desktop, network, and system application support to the 500 plus employees of ROBINSON from British Columbia to Ontario.

What you will do :

  • Provide technical advice, system support, and troubleshooting services which optimize use of computer network services
  • Create problem tickets and tracking resolution for all calls and emails
  • Route unresolved tickets to appropriate Level 2 support
  • Provide initial setup of workstations, PCs, printers, and cell phones
  • Deliver basic user training
  • Provide on call support to branches in rotation with the team
  • Other duties as assigned

About you :

  • Post-secondary education (certificate or diploma) in a technology related field
  • Previous experience in a work-related environment (Help Desk, Service Desk or Technician Services)
  • Working knowledge of Windows desktop environments and working with a variety of applications, A+ certification is an asset
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft certifications an asset
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Working knowledge of Sharepoint and One Drive
  • Experience with macOS an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal skills working in team environments
  • Demonstrates strong customer service skills to partner in solving problems
  • Superior communication skills, written and verbal
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Proven ability to learn in a fast paced and fluid environment
