What you will do
- Trouble shooting and consulting on facility design and operating problems, working directly with operations and maintenance personal
- Prepare engineering designs using industry code and company standards for facility upgrades and replacement in kinds of piping, pumps, and all other process equipment.
- Perform studies on enhancement opportunities, finalize studies with engineered design packages for execution
- Provide engineering guidance on execution of facility upgrades, work directly with maintenance group and contractors
- Direct mentorship under professional engineers
About you
Skills and Qualifications
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and safe driving record
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering Degree from a Canadian Accredited (or equivalent) University
- Registered with APEGA as an or
- Strong technical background in facilities and surveillance engineering with a minimum of 3 years experience.
Preferred Qualifications / Experience
- Previous industry experience; preference will be given to cold weather engineering experience.
- Commitment to safety on and off the job.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills that enables you to build strong, positive relationships with diverse groups.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team-based environment.
