Job Description
AECOM Burnaby is seeking an experienced Intern Architect to join our team and contribute to impactful projects in transportation and transit, including aviation, rail, and other related infrastructure.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape high-profile projects and work alongside a talented team of architects and engineers dedicated to advancing our communities.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide architectural expertise, calculations, analysis, and recommendations to support a specialized segment of the Architectural Discipline, ensuring project milestones are met within budget and on schedule.
- Potentially oversee various teams of architects, designers, and specialists, fostering a collaborative and productive project environment.
- Contribute to smaller-scale projects directly or support Project Architects or Engineering Managers on larger, complex assignments.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and 6+ years of experience in architectural design for transportation and transit projects
- 4+ years of experience with Revit, demonstrating a strong grasp of project development and design
Preferred Qualifications :
- 10+ years of architectural experience, ideally with a focus on transportation infrastructure
- Master’s degree in Architecture
- Active pursuit of professional registration, with anticipated completion within 12 months
