As a Junior Environmental Consultant with our Contaminated Lands team in Whitby, you'll grow your technical skills while helping deliver high-impact site assessment and remediation projects.

Your Impact

• Apply a Safety-First mindset by following site-specific health and safety plans and identifying potential hazards to protect clients, colleagues, and the public.
• Support environmental projects involving Phase I and Phase II ESAs , remediation activities, Risk Assessments, and Records of Site Condition under O. Reg. 153 / 04 .
• Contribute to client compliance with Ontario Regulation 406 / 19 by supporting excess soil characterization and management for construction projects.
• Carry out office-based tasks including historical research, regulatory file review, data tabulation, interpretation of lab results, and preparing technical reports.
• Coordinate subcontractors and logistics for field programs, ensuring documentation is accurate, complete, and aligned with industry standards.
• Perform field tasks such as soil logging, groundwater and surface water sampling, soil vapour sampling, indoor air sampling, and environmental surveying.
• Supervise subcontractors conducting ground disturbance, utility locating, borehole drilling, monitoring well installation, and remedial excavations.
