What you will do :
The Marketing Director is responsible for creating and planning the annual marketing strategy for the company's products and services, ensuring alignment with the organization's growth objectives.
This role works closely with the direct sales teams to support sales strategies through comprehensive marketing plans.
Key responsibilities :
Develop Marketing strategies : Design and implement annual comprehensive marketing strategies which will include calendar of campaigns, events and brand strategies to support organization's growth;
that focuses on revenue, lead generation and new client acquisition.
Team Leadership : Overseeing the marketing department, provides guidance, mentorship, sets performance goals and uses KPIs to measure performance.
Conducts regular team meetings and fosters a collaborative environment.
- Campaign management : Planning and executing campaigns for product and or services promotion.
- Collaboration with stakeholders : Works closely with the sales teams to align sales and marketing strategies and tactics
- Market Research : Build product knowledge of the market and the competitors and identify opportunities for growth as well as monitor competitors and devise strategies to gain market share.
- Performance Analysis : Evaluate marketing campaigns effectiveness with tools, materials, and analytics to assess performance
- Budget Management : Setting and controlling the marketing budget allocating resources among projects.
- Brand Strategy : Maintain brand standards and ensure compliance across all marketing and communication channels.
What you will bring :
- Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, advertising or relevant field experience
- 10 years experience in marketing, with a proven track record in marketing management roles. Experience in branding, sales and managing marketing campaigns is crucial.
- A proven track record of aligning marketing support to a direct B2B sales team
- Ability to lead, manage and engage a team.
- Strategic thinking, developing and implementing marketing strategies.
- Analytic Skills, ability to analyze market trends, data and competition to make informed decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with budget managing and achieving business objectives.
- Ability to build a network with industry professionals as well as collaborate internally to build strong relationships across the business.
- Knowledge of MS apps, including Word, Excel and Outlook are required.
- Technical skills - content writing and creation, customer relationship management, social media marketing, public relations, email marketing, pay per click, advertising, event planning,
- Sales experience is preferred
