Robert Half is currently working with a client seeking a Director of Finance. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, management, technology, analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills as part of the management team. If you are an experienced Director of Finance looking for a challenging role at an established not for profit company, this may be the role for you.
Your responsibilities
- Implement and maintain an organizational structure to effectively accomplish the departments goals and objectives
- Perform financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions
- Oversee daily operations of the finance and accounting department
- Compare monthly operating results against budget
- Prepare financial outlooks and forecasts
- Analyze and monitor forecasting and budgeting models
- Direct, review, and prepare financial planning and budget management functions
- Create and manage five-year business plans along with department managers
- Direct risk and insurance management
- Manage the preparation of all financial reports
- Manage the hiring, training, and retention of finance staff
- Adhere to local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements
- Manage the operating procedures of the department, including short- and long-range goals, objectives, and policies- Suggest benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance
