Job descriptionOversee the design, development, implementation, and monitoring of validation processes and tools for ATS Learning programs, aligned with International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) recommendations, Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) and global best practices. Lead and mentor a team responsible for executing validation activities and analyzing and reporting on training effectiveness data and safety data. Oversee the analysis of complex qualitative and quantitative data and ensure findings are translated into clear, actionable, and persuasive insights that support improvements in ATS Learning courses. Lead strategic communication approaches that position validation as a value-adding, risk-reducing function, supporting stakeholder understanding and buy-in. Deliver clear and impactful presentations and repots to senior leadership, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders. Oversee the implementation of safeguards to protect sensitive information and ensure confidentiality. Manage requests for training data, ensuring timely and accurate reporting that maintains confidentiality. Oversee the tracking and analysis of safety investigation data and audit findings to identify trends and areas for improvement. Identify departmental risks from safety data and report to senior leadership. Plan, coordinate, and monitor the development of policies, standards, processes, and tools to support the analysis, design, development, delivery, and validation of ATS Learning programs. Conduct training reviews and support compliance audits in accordance with the ATS Learning Training Governance Framework. Lead or contribute to other learning compliance projects or initiatives. Post-secondary education in education (with a focus on adult learning or instructional design), data analytics or statistics, psychology, communication or a related field. Experience in data analysis, preferably within educational or training environments, including experience interpreting trends and presenting actionable insights. Experience in leading and facilitating diverse, multi-disciplinary teams. Experience synthesizing complex data into clear and compelling reports and presentations for senior leadership, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders. Experience leading teams in data-driven projects, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and timely delivery of insights Experience coaching individuals and teams to improve performance and collaboration. Experience in developing and implementing innovative tools or processes. Experience in shaping and supporting positive corporate culture initiatives and change implementation. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to translate data into actionable insights for diverse audiences Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies (e.g. ADDIE). Knowledge of training evaluation models (e.g. the Kirkpatrick Model). Proficiency in survey design Familiarity with data analysis, and visualization tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI). Familiarity with research and statistical methodologies, including data collection techniques. Familiarly with the air navigation industry. Familiarity with ICAO recommendations and CARs compliance requirements for training is an asset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word). A natural leader who inspires, motivates, and coaches others to shape a positive, engaged workplace culture. Skilled in effectively managing projects and developing effective methodologies for training initiatives. A confident facilitator, capable of presenting actionable data driven insights, delivering compliance training, and corporate presentations with clarity and professionalism. An exceptional communicator, both written and verbal. Trusted to act with initiative, sound judgement, and discretion, especially when handling sensitive or confidential matters. Ability to generate reports and make data driven decisions and recommendations that enhance training quality. Highly organized and goal-oriented, with a talent for prioritizing tasks and motivating teams to meet goals. This position is a hybrid position with a minimum 3 days per week on site.
